A trip to the library... and still in a fog!

G'day mates!  Here we are, my bro HUGO A GO-GO et moi at the magnificant VANCOUVER PUBLIC LIBRARY...  The ol' GAYCANUCK is more than just a pretty face, ya know...  We went to DOLLARAMA and on the way back we took a long walk around the library and took pics of it's beautiful architecture... and surrounding area.   The Film Centre   The BIG post office and down Georgia Street.   Their building this 40 storey MONSTROSITY called the SHANGRA-LA...  yikes... TOTAL towering INFERNO potential there.   And of course, a LONDON style fog-bank hovering just above the buildings... Fuck we had fun... Hugo HAD to take a picture with the BIG BULL on Richards Street across from the library.  I chose a more "touristy" post as I always do... Hugo on the other hand...just couldn't RESIST grabbing the bull by the horns... I mean BALLS..  what a pig...I giggled until I peed at THAT one...  People were walkin' by, rolling their eyes up at these two crazy homos, maulin' a stuffed cow...  priceless... 
 
Then we went to RED BURRITO for a humongoid burrito... the fuckin' thing was like eating a football... I hadta take half of it home cause of all the stuff they put in em'  delish.  after that Hugo walked me home [such a romantic]he freakin' mauled ME outside my apt...  the boy sometimes has no sense of his surroundings... LOL  He is very "hands-on" when we hang out...  Never really had a buddy like this that just can't keep his hands off me....  and  I LOVE IT!  Again, gang...another ggggggreat day.  
 
On  to the NEXT GUY...lol   MARC went in for gall-bladder surgery TODAY after several attacks that took him STRAIGHT to the emergency ward. He FINALLY was able to get SQUEEZED in at the last minute to get it done.  He`ll be camping out at MY crib for a few days to let NURSE RATSHIT do her magic...  OK  FO-JO NIGHTINGALE I ain't, but I do take care of my bros.  Such a lovely man, I so enjoy our time together even if it is during re-hab.  I gotta go to Shoppers Drug Mart and buy a few supplies for my nurses bag...  a thermometer (RECTAL of course...kidding!)  and some tums for is tummy.   He gets to be on these mind-bending painkillers and ya know I'm gonna havta try one... BAD BAD SHAWNO... just to make sure they work properly... I`ll keep ya posted.
So tonight TCM has some EXCELLENT movies on that I just haveta watch... ALL ABOUT EVE... one of my FAVES  followed by  SUNSET BOULEVARD...  "I'm ready for my close-up MAX"  And Marc is sound asleep... wasted on meds... totally delerious...  he was babbling about some breathing exercises he forgot to do (É)  I can hear him happily sawing logs.  and me... in my `gracious drawing-room``... having a nice glass of vino...  WOW , all this was just a fantasy a few years ago...think about it.... I`ve been back for almost 2 FREAKIN`YEARS after my near-death experience in Alberta and how far I have come in such a short time.  My life is so fun now... and stress-free.  OK OK ENUF OF THAT ALREADY...  tomorrow MARC and I havta go for a few walks to get him back in action again so I am gonna take a pic or 2 of the mural that was defaced a few months back.  Apparently the artist HAS FINISHED IT AGAIN... I`ll post some pics of that depiction of GRANVILLE STREET and the rest of my neighbourhood....  G`night
